How to Book a Charter

Charters are accepted subject to availability. All charters are accepted under the terms of a standard MYBA Eastern Mediterranean Terms, as modified to include dinner in addition to breakfast and lunch and fuel for four hours. Bookings can be made through your Yacht Broker, Travel Agency, or directly with Canyon Charters through the following online inquiry form.

Booking and Payment

To reserve the yacht or sports boat of your choice, a Charter Contract must be signed and a deposit of 50% must be made in cleared funds at the time of booking. Payment of the balance of the charter fee plus an allowance for extras will be required two weeks before the charter date. Payment can be charged to acceptable credit cards.

Extras

Alcoholic beverages; port fees; personal communication charges; fuel surcharges due, for example, to your wish to cruise for longer than four hours, or at a higher speed than the yacht’s rated cruising speed, or due to unexpected increases in the cost of fuel are not included and will be charged at cost.  Gratuities to the crew are also not included and vary. As a guideline, the usual range for gratuities is 10% to 15% of the total charter cost.

In the event of the cancellation of a charter, for whatever reason, then a cancellation notice must be given to Canyon Charters. The date of receipt of the notice will be the governing date for the Cancellation Charges that will be applicable according to the following schedule, regardless of any resale.
