M.V. Soma Bay 1
Soma Bay 1 is a multi-purpose boat that is usually based in Soma Bay. This vessel is ideally suited for day trips by a relatively small and select group of persons to the best dive sites or fishing trips within the Bays of Safaga and Hurghada.
Soma Bay 1 is 42’ long (13-meter) and can comfortably accommodate 8 passengers. It is skippered by a very competent, experienced captain.
It carries a full range of safety equipment, including two life rafts, life vests, medical first aid kit, VHF, GPS, chart-plotter and radar. It is powered by twin 420HP engines, with a 9kW generator ensuring essential services.
The boat has a large head with an electric toilet and hot and cold shower, an air-conditioned cabin with V-berth, a galley with electric hob and refrigerator, and a shower at the swim platform.
